A great way to train for the Camino
is to walk barefoot. Start in your home, then step outside to the backyard or a park. Go slowly as you are adapting your entire body to a new way of walking. Your alignment is shifted because you are walking with your heels on the ground.
Connect with the great Mother Earth and you will feel amazing!
I have been walking the Camino
barefoot for the last 4 years and in May I wrote a blog about my experiences. Read more here.
If you do not feel completely comfortable in your bare feet in public, there is an option. Wear the first ever sole-less shoes. You will find leather and neoprene styles at Barebottom Shoes here!
