Stories about our Group Walk on the Camino

Posted June 2, 2015 | by Sue Kenney | in Camino | no responses It took 11 days for our group to walk 225 kilometers on the Camino. We started in Ponferrada and ended in Santiago. The longest day was 28 kilometers and it was a challenge! The sun was out every day and the sky was soooooo blue. We couldn't have asked for better weather. It was a journey that had a profound effect on all the pilgrims. 2014-05-20-0130-Camino de Santiago-2-M During our group walk, I kept a blog about my journey walking most of it barefoot, in Barebottom Shoes or in minimalist shoes. There are some great pics of our journey and a few stories to share too. Read more here. I have been invited to speak at an international pilgrim forum in October, and have decided to move the September walk to October October 3-10, 2015. More information will be available very soon. Our regular May 2016. 11 day walk will take place May 17 - 29, 2016. If the Camino is on your bucket list, or you want to slow your life down a little, a long walk is the perfect thing to do. You will follow the footsteps of pilgrims who have walked for over 1000 years. Contact me to find out more. Buen Camino! Sue 705 8264641

"For all of us square pegs who never really seemed to fit the round hole (and still don't) offer hope! Thank you dearly for coming to the park and sharing your gift. I will never look at a rock that looks out of place the same way! " - Doug McColl
