My Camino Audiobook

I found my Voice.

From the first time I started writing My Camino the book, I wanted to speak the words of the stories. I had recorded a storytelling CD called Stone by Stone in 2003 before I started writing, yet I still wanted to use my voice. Finally, 10 years have passed since my first Camino and I have finally recorded the entire book. It’s a 5 CD set full of my love for this path that changed my life forever.

It was with unconditional love, the talent and skills of Lori Hirst, Bryan Lowe and everyone at Joao Carvalho Mastering Studio. Together we spent many hours in the studio and had a lot of fun creating this piece. Lori was so inspired by the stories that she wrote a song called, “In the Moment” that she’s going to record.

On November 17th, we had a CD launch event at the LOT on Ossington Av in Toronto and celebrated with friends and family.

The Audio CD will be available on CDBaby as a download or CD Set soon. If you’d like a copy now, contact mycaminobook@gmail.com to order a copy.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Sue’s novel, My Camino back in 2004. Now, having listened to the recent release of the audio version of her book, I am happily reminded of what a lovely book and incredible journey she shares with us.

This time however, her soothing voice magically transports me to Spain and the Camino walk itself. I feel I am now part of this healing journey as the book comes alive through her own voice. It is almost dream-like as I listen…some people wish at times they could become a ‘fly on the wall’ to really appreciate someone’s experience; I feel as though I have climbed into her backpack and can actually be part of this wonderful adventure.

This book has always been a must ‘read’ and is now also a must ‘listen’.
