TED X Toronto
It is my dream to one day do a TED talk. On October 22, I will attend the TED X Toronto event to be in the audience to hear some great speakers. I hope to get a sense of what the experience is like, to inspire me so that I can apply to be a speaker to share my experiences and insights in my bare foot life and the reasons why I designed Barebottom Shoes!

Finding and building Community.
Co-Hosted by Sue Kenney and Stephanie Welch.
In Step One, we covered some reasons people might want to go barefoot and how to overcome the fears and social barriers that might get in the way. In Step Two, we delved into what it’s really like going barefoot (outside your home!) and what to expect out of it. In Step Three, we’ll talk about finding and building community with other barefooters, including hearing from our special guest, Chris Fielding of Barefoot Beginner. You’re not alone! In this webinar, we’ll talk about the challenges of isolation and rejection that can occur as a result of taking this less trodden path, but more importantly how to get support in taking on this challenge through existing communities, both online and in your local area. Chris will share with us his experiences how he has gone about creating his own flourishing online community to connect those wishing to learn with those seeking to teach them. We’ll all be answering questions again live at the end. (Be sure to add yours in the Q&A app, either in advance or during the event, and vote on your favorite questions!)Know someone you’d like to share more about barefooting with? Feel free to invite friends and family!
