Maybe you’ve already walked the Camino Frances and you are ready for your next Camino journey. The Portuguese Way offers a chance to walk along the coast of Portugal, alongside the ocean. Sometimes we walk on boardwalks and if you want, you can even walk along the beach. It’s a 10 Day Experience. We will walk for 8 days with an average of 24 kms per day. 200 kilometers on the Coastal Route of the Portuguese Way and ending in Santiago, Spain.
Or we will walk the last 100 kms on the Camino Frances starting in the ancient village of Samos where there is a 13th-century Monastery and a 1000 year old yew tree. You’ll walk an average of 18 kms per day on the most famous route on the Camino.
Are you ready to walk back to your authentic self?
What is a pilgrimage?
Many of us are being called to work together in the world. On the Camino de Santiago, like minds meet and have interesting conversations about philosophy, humanity, history, culture and the meaning of life. Are you ready to embark on a sacred journey that guides you to be more aligned with your authentic self?
The Camino is a medieval pilgrimage route that people have been walking for 1000 years. It was made even more famous after the movie The Way, with Emilio Estevez and Martin Sheen came out. You’ll receive a Credential to gather stamps along the way that you present to the Pilgrim Office in Santiago to receive the coveted Compostella Certificate.
This spiritual pilgrimage has been designed for individuals who are interested in embarking on a walking journey of self-discovery and adventure. You’ll slow your life down to 4 kilometers an hour while living the simple life of a pilgrim. This allows for more time to look inward if you so desire. Join expert pilgrim Sue Kenney during pre-Camino coaching calls, a training plan, packing advice, and pre-arranged accommodations. You’ll step into the footsteps of millions of pilgrims who have walked this path before you only we have an optional backpack service so you don’t have to carry a lot of weight. Women and men of all ages and backgrounds are welcome.
